2 Br 2 Ba Resort Villa on Private Island on the south coast of Curacao - occu 6

This resort is located on a private island with the sea aquarium. There are only 33 villas in the resort, which has a pool, children's pool, spa tub and lovely beach for swimming. You are able to watch the dolphin show from the balcony of this unit, which has a full kitchen, dining area and living room. The resort has a shuttle to a shopping area where you can pick up groceries if you want to cook in your unit. The one bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other bedroom has 2 double beds. There is a walk-in closet on each bedroom side with the living areas located in the center. The master bedroom and living area have sliding glass doors to a nice balcony with furniture. The bathrooms each have a tub w/shower head and the sink is located in the dressing area. The kitchen has a stove, dishwasher, full -sized refrigerator and is stocked with dishes. There is a TV in each bedroom, as well as, one in the living room area. The unit easily accommodates 6 adults as there are murphy beds in the living room area in addition to the two double beds in the second bedroom. Top floor (3rd) so no noise from above. There is a restaurant on the property, as well as, various other restaurants within walking distance. Dolphin experience & snorkeling nearby. Amenities include: Free WiFi, amble closets and drawers, safe, satellite TV, maid service Wed & Sat, hair dryer, iron & board, elevators, free parking. There are laundry facilities and you have the use of a nearby fitness facility, along with spa and beauty services. Hot dog welcome party during the week.

The resort is located about 30 minutes from the airport. You can catch a bus (van) nearby and go into town, which has many different shops, since it is a cruise port. See the swinging bridge and wonderfully colorful Dutch homes in town. Some of the sightseeing we did was visit the Curacao Liquor distillery for a taste testing, the ostrich farm, cave, and the aloe factory - where we got nice skin products. What we really enjoyed was checking in on the the animals at the Sea Aquarium. When walking over the bridge to the island we would check in on the seals and sea lions and see them huddled together sleeping in the evening. Perfect way to end a perfect day.
