Not quite Marriott standards

The hotel was built in 2023 and does show modern convienence s. However the room we had with 2 queen beds and lacked sufficient storage for clothing for a family. There was a dresser with 2 ā€œlarger drawersā€ and a cabinet with 4 smaller drawers, 2 small drawers in the bathroom and limited closet space. The fridge didnā€™t keep water cold. Room service was sub par, we had to ask for refill of our bath products. As dirty towels were removed they were not replaced, we had to ask for towel replacement. The ice bucket size didnā€™t fit under the ice machine, making getting ice challenging. The ability to have co-joined rooms involves a shared balcony. Which is fine if you are using both rooms. If not using the seating area can be problematic if you want to be out in the balcony at the same time, depends on who got out there first to use the seating area, not optimal. Our ā€œbeach viewā€ was over looking to pool. A parking lot & the dock for cruise ships to come in. Not exactly what we were expecting. During our stay one of the 3 elevators was not in service, not a long delay, but if you were not aware there were multiple buttons you were waiting for an elevator that will never come. We have stayed at other Marriotts and were disappointed with this one.
