We had a great stay at LionsDive! The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It is right next to Mambo Beach, which has a bunch of cute shops and several restaurants outside of the ones at the resort. We had a couple massage and the treatment was so relaxing. The beach is lovely and there were plenty of chairs to sit down and relax. The resort is also next to the little aquarium, (which offers a variety of activities) as well as a snorkeling and dive shop. The resort does offer a daily shuttle to both a grocery store and downtown Willemsted. It does pick up downtown fairly early, so you will need to take a cab back if you are going to dinner downtown. Taxis can get a little pricy, so if you want to explore different areas of the island, or go out to eat for dinner downtown, you will want to rent a car. Mambo beach and Hemmingway’s can get noisy some days of the week (we went during shoulder season, so it might vary), but it was very quiet by about 11pm. We didn’t have any issue with the noise and were surprised just how quiet it was most evenings. It was a very relaxing and lovely vacation :)

Prime location right next to mambo beach was excellent with many options to eat since our hotel restaurants were always booked. Lacking customer service at hotel and did not accommodate any of my requests.

The LionsDive resort was absolutely beautiful!! The snorkeling here was the best of all the Caribbean islands I have been to. The lagoon off of the beach had almost a half a mile of rocks and reefs to snorkel and we spent hours in the water. The lounge chairs and cabanas on the beach were a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sun (and order a few drinks). The hotel rooms were very clean and nice and the staff were quick to help with anything we needed. One thing to note, you will need outlet converters or adapters if you are traveling from the US. The front desk had extra adapters we used but the voltage did not work with my curling iron however my hair straightener worked fine. Phones and everything else charged perfectly fine as well. There is a long walk with good shops/boutiques and restaurants with all different foods. I highly recommend Pizza Mare, we went a couple times because it was so delicious and came out quick. Overall, from talking with other travelers I think we made the right choice staying at the LionsDive, seemed to be the best in the area and we would definitely go back!!

LionsDive was awesome! Staff was very helpful. I forgot a charger for my phone and Sergio(at the front desk) brought me one from home the next day. Above and beyond. Our room was overlooking the beach and we could walk to several different restaurants and beaches. Fantastic trip overall and would h8ghly recommend!

The hotel was great except for two things. The main restaurant Hemingways is not very good. We ate at the the other restaurants nearby that were much better. Second issue the noise. They played very loud music until around 11:00 each night that made it difficult to watch TV or go to sleep.

The water and location was beautiful. My only complaint is that we were to about a resort credit we could have used during our check out. We weren't told at check in about $150 resort credit that we got do to construction outside our door. It would have been nice if they credited our credit card.
