These tiny cabins are very efficiently designed with lots of nice touches. You feel like you are at a campground with the sites very far apart and private, but you don't have to pitch a tent! You have heat, AC, a private bathroom and shower all without lifting a finger. The only thing to realize is you are about 15 minutes from Wimberely so there is a little drive to get to the town and any restaurants, stores, etc. If you are good with that, and love the outdoors, this is a great place!
Everything was good except live scorpion at the door.

Didn’t get our cabin confirmation and code until over 2+ hours after check-in. Had to reach out multiple times, was hard to get ahold of someone, and couldn’t get in to our place or didn’t know where to go on property. Also, dishes/kitchen were not clean (stained/not fully clean). Lastly, I had previously stayed here 2 weeks prior and had great communication and a clean cabin and it included a s’mores kit, welcome kit, coffee, water, fire starter kit and hand written note. This time ( 2 weeks later) it seemed prepared last minute and all kit items are now charged per item and not included in the rental.
It was quiet until a big party pulled up in the next cabin on our 2nd day. They are spread apart but the noise traveled. The roads to the cabins were a bit bumpy in some spots.

Our stay at as amazing and worth the drive! The postcard said be in the now and that's what we did! Will be coming back!
My wife and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and honestly it was the best decision i could’ve made. We were amazingly accommodated and had everything we could’ve wanted and more included in our stay. The location was so beautiful and peaceful and the cabin and experience was even better than the pictures online. I would recommend Post Card Cabins in Hill Country to everyone, especially if you’re looking for a getaway.

This quaint little cabin was a pleasure to stay in, for me and my grandson (8yrs). It was set up with almost everything we needed and was a unique and naturally beautiful stay vs hotels. There were a couple things I’d suggest to improve the next persons’ stay, perhaps.
1.) I know it’s not about how we look when we are enjoying the outdoors, but some type of mirror would come in handy. I wear contacts and needed a mirror to put them in and also just to make sure my ponytail/bun is straight.
2.) I couldn’t find anywhere on the website stating that it wouldn’t be okay for disabled persons. I’ve never really considered myself disabled, but I did find myself having issues with the step into the bathroom and the one to bottom platform of lower bunk. I had to use a chair to brace myself to get both feet and then rest of body in the lower bunk. Coming down from bunk, I just slowly let myself skid down to land my bottom on step. SO, maybe a tiny step stool that would make the stairs easier for those of us with really bad knees. The stairs into the cabin weren’t bad because they have a handrail.
