Lovely hotel

Attended a friend’s wedding at the hotel and stayed over. The staff from the receptionist to the servers were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also excellent with a good choice of hot and continental breakfast. Only warning is that the shower is over a deep bath with a step up to the bath and a step inside the bath so may be unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Amazing hotel. If this was in London, you'd pay £500/night. It's a proper boutique hotel and the owners ethic has obviously worked through to the staff, who are amongst the best hotel staff I've ever experienced. Friday, professional, very attentive and can't do enough for you, from carrying bags to opening doors... The bar is lovely, as is the restaurant and the rooms a fab. It's a gem of a place and had become our new favourite destination hotel

Fabulous boutique hotel. Old school service. The kind of service yeud expect for .£600/night for a fraction of the price. Lovely cocktail bar and the food, both breakfast and the lunch/dinner menu was superb. 10/10

amazing.. staff went above and beyond helping and being polite. really lovely group of staff.. we always stay here if in southport. Great value for money. breakfast now included which is a great idea. extra thank you for the chef for making my girlfriend a omlette for breakfast and reception for taking care of my car and taking time out for a chat.

There was nothing we didn't like aboat this hotel. Room and facilities were great. The staff were welcoming and really helpful. Plenty of choice at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel and we'll stay here again.

Excellent stay at The Vincent. From the moment we walked in the staff were welcoming and attentive. It was my birthday on which the receptionist congratulated me. She also said we had been given a free upgrade to a studio room which was lovely. On entering, the bed was covered in rose petals which i thought was a lovely gesture. No sooner had we taken our coats off then a knock at our door and a lovely man from reception brought a tray of chocs in way of celebration. Another lovely gesture. So thoughtful. The room was large, with a nespresso coffee maker, a deep japanese soaking bath and a huge bed. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with lots of choice. I highly recommend staying here.

Hands down the team at the hotel are what make this place special. The doorman/concierge was such a nice chap and so kind to me. I received a warm welcome upon check in and check out, but I found my room and particularly the bathroom to be quite 'tired' and in need of some 'TLC'. An odd set up with what appeared to be a heavy screen panel rather than a curtain which seemed to be off its rails so wouldn't close out the bright lights from outside. Note that a 'city view' room comes with the possibility of noise all night from outside, due to thin windows. I would stay again though due to the location and kindness of the team there.
