The home has been recently renovated, keeping its original design and sustainable living features. Warmed by the radiant wood fired heater in winter or outdoor fire pit and cooled by fans and doors wide open to the valley breezes in summer. The 2 bedrooms are screened and each have a Queen bed with organic cotton sheets and French linen doona covers. A fully equipped kitchen, shower, inside bath with night sky views and separate toilet all radiate around the domed central living open space.
A private country haven, you are only 2 hours 20 minutes from Brisbane (traffic pending), 50 minutes to Noosa, 20 minutes to Gympie, 15 minutes to Kin Kin with the newly renovated historic Kin Kin pub and Black Ant café, 35 minutes to Tin Can Bay and 50 minutes to Rainbow Beach, gateway to K’Gari Fraser Island and Cooloola National Park.
Wander through the fruit orchard to pluck the fruits of the season and discover the waterhole. This rustic and picturesque place will help you unwind, regenerate and fill yourself with all the good things nature provides – clean air, exceptional starry nights, space to breathe and reconnect with yourself and /or your loved ones.
You need a car to get here and please bring all your food, drinks etc as the closest shops are Gympie (20 minutes’ drive). Drinking water is filtered rainwater so BYO if concerned.
