The Beachgrove cottage is a refurbished self contained 2 bedroom cottage. It has one bathroom with a spa, toiler , shower and small laundry cupboard with washing machine, clothes rack and cleaning equipment/products. A neat kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave , oven / stove top and fridge/freezer. Its a 3 min walk to the beach. A very peaceful area in a semi rural setting. We have wifi check the black folder located on the bench or bottom draw.
Make yourself comfortable in this cottage, which features a fireplace. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. The bathroom has a jetted bathtub and a hair dryer.

We would request a full or part refund or shall not be using vrbo again and pass on our experience through online media. The photos of the property were years old and gave a false impression. The outside was covered at the top in bird droppings a hazard. The wooden stairs were old snd dangerous. The veranda had animal facies on it. The front door grill was covered in mould. The barbeque was rusted and a health hazard to anyone using it. The washing machine was covered in black mould. Health issue. In the evening the bathroom had a large ant infestation. Quite honestly both of us wanted to walk out however we had no where else to stay. I have pictures of all of the above issues which will be used as evidence. The property should not be advertised like this and we feel our cost should be reimbursed before we take this further.

Great location, helpful host. Cleanliness bit average, had to clean around floor of toilet, the stovetop knobs grotty and oven had splashes. One doona smelt of urine but was quickly replaced by owner.

Great little place for a few nights stay. It was great to bring our dog along and she loved that the yard was all fenced in. Owners near by and friendly, and happy to help if you needed anything. Fresh eggs, milk and biscuits were a lovely bonus touch. A lovely house with everything you need - thanks for a great stay!

Trouble with the owner

We booked the stay and were later informed there will be no electricity & water on Sunday morning due to an outage. Had huge trouble cancelling the booking with the owner and had to get stay’s customer support to help us. We took annual leave for this holiday that turned up to be an unpleasant experience.

When we arrived the fire was lit which was lovely as it was quite cold. The house was clean and having a fenced yard for the dogs was a bonus. The walk to the beach was very short and we did get up early and got some amazing sunrise photos. Would definitely stay again

Great Location.

Clean comfortable cottage in a good location. Extremely low water pressure in kitchen taps and washing machine would only progress through 2 minutes of the 15 min cycle. Not enough water to wet the load

Beautiful & quiet

Lovely little beach cottage. Had everything i needed for an easy short stay. Its was just what i needed to check out for a bit. Beach was lovely and most of the time had it all to ourselves. Dogs loved it.

Beach escape

Beautiful cottage, with gorgeous garden,awesome area close to beach. Lovely welcome from hosts with fresh eggs from the chooks too. Accomodation was really clean and we loved it! Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

Beachgrove Cottage Woodside

We had a great few days in this comfortable cottage. It was a short walk through the caravan park to the beach, which we virtually had to ourselves except for the occasional person fishing. The fire was lit when we arrived, and some Tim Tams were left for us - nice touches. The spa was great, and the full kitchen enabled us to cater for ourselves. When we needed some extra wood, the hosts responded quickly. Thanks Michelle and Travis for a very enjoyable stay.

Just what we needed!

After an extremely busy 2023, we needed to escape to somewhere peaceful and this cottage certainly delivered! The cottage was fully equipped with everything you need in a home away from home. We were able to prepare full meals, store all our cold goods in the full-size refrigerator, and sleep peacefully as the sound of the waves were crashing in nearby. The property is located a very short walk away from the beach. There was no need to cart every essential with us to the beach as we could easily duck back to the cottage to grab lunch or anything else left behind. The fact that the cottage is dog friendly made the whole trip extra special. Our furbabies are well and truly a part of our family and to have them with us the entire time was a joy. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, look no further!

Perfect cottage

Awesome little cottage within a perfect location. Both Michelle and Travis were wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend for that weekend get-away.
