Nice hotel. The staff were the amazing- from butlers, waiters, housekeeping. Very nice room upgrade with private garden pool and VIP/Premier. We never had hot water in our room and the lights kept turning on all night long (motion.) They tried but never got fixed. The food was ok. The drinks were ok. Lacked the ‘premier’ or classiness of other highly rated resorts we have stayed before. Lacked luster. We likely wouldn’t stay here again.

Not worth it!!! Do not book this place! Ive been to multiple all inclusive hotels and this by far is the worst. We even payed a premium to become TRS exclusive but was very disappointed. Only resort that has a rule that only one dinner reservation per night despite offering 12 restaurants in property, whats the point of all those restaurants when you can only try one a night. Never had that rule in other hotels weve been to, as we love to just pick and choose small items from each restaurant to try. The premium package invovled getting the cabaret dinner show which was okay, I would be really disappointed if we had to pay extra for it. They promised us tequila bottle in our room before we arrive and it took 2 days after contacting our ebutler to recieve it by that time it was our last night in. The e butler basically really couldnt do anything other than make dinner reservations, we asked everyday to do the archery or rifle shooting and everyday was a no. On day one we noticed the Ac not working properly as the other room was way more colder than ours, we complained and our butler just said to not put on the coldest temp. And itll be just fine. We did that and still very warm inside when we were getting ready for dinner we were sweating. It took another complain for them to really look into it and told us at night that the AC is actually broken and we have to move rooms. Plus The resort is full of mosquitos! Overall very disappointed at our stay! Go somewhere else!

This resort is beautiful! Our room was upgraded to a private swimming pool. Theee only reason I'm not rating it a 5 over-all is due to a roach that was in our room. I don’t believe it makes them dirty. I do feel like they should take preventable measures to prevent their customers from having these type of encounters!. I will say they did not hesitate to move us to a different room upon request. While we were leaving we did encounter a Racoon inside of the hotel due to people sitting their plates outside of their room. The resort is basically a beautiful jungle so there were Iguanas, Faunas, Racoons & Spider Monkeys, although we didn't encounter any Monkeys we did see the beautiful Flamingos! The staff was excellent, very accommodating & pleasant. Another issue was 1 of our butler's, HE was very dismissive, rude & not helpful at all! Overall I'd say that it was a great experience! Will I go back, absolutely! If you like wildlife & a jungle like atmosphere with a beautiful view, THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU!

The dining options were terrible and the room was moist and smelled damp the entire stay. The staff was very friendly but the entertainment was lacking except for the CHIC show which was amazing. The spa was also amazing and we spent most of our time there. They also wanted me to pay 200 USD which turned to 182 USD, per a different staff member, for a taxi cab off of the property which was insane and we felt trapped. We even upgraded to the premium experience for 50 USD per person per day which was also lacking and not worth the extra money sadly. The front desk person did however upgrade our room which was closer to the infinity pool area and convenient.

First, I would like to start off by saying the property was gorgeous!!! The staff, and butlers were cool! It was our anniversary and they definitely went above and beyond to ensure that was special. The property did have a few flaws in my opinion. To start my room smelled like mold, and my bedding was wet daily. As a result the pillows and bedding had a musty smell to it. I had to request fresh linens. The smell alone made me want to stay out of my room as much as possible. We had a jr suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony and that was nice. It was definitely “grown and sexy” with all the mirrors. My third issue was the food. The food selection was NOT good in my opinion. However, room service was AMAZING (those empanadas and barbacoa tacos were delish). The Italian restaurant was our favorite. The steak house would have been amazing but the steak was SO tough. We did a romantic dinner on the beach (gazebo Helios) and the vibe and view was fabulous. The food? Not great! Salad barely had dressing. The soup was delish. I got the lobster but the butter was disgusting (tasted like popcorn butter) but I made the mistake of drizzling it all on my food. My husband got the steak and he told me that it absolutely did not taste like steak but tasted like liver. It was very dry and tough. We paid $280 (plus got a $50 coupon). Last, the lack of entertainment was unfortunate. Why did the family side have a DJ and swim up bar but not the ADULTS only side?

The air conditioning in the restaurants was very lack luster, we ended up leaving the steak house before finishing our meal because it was so hot and uncomfortable in there. The resort is large and you spend a lot of time waiting in golf carts to get around. There are mirrors everywhere, it scared us every time we would open a door because to the side of the doors are giants mirrors don’t looks like someone is coming out the door as your trying to go in. And the bathroom in our room was essentially just a wall of mirrors with a door.

The size of the property makes it an annoyance to get around, you have to wait on a golf cart to pick you up or you stay within your one restaurant and poolside location, there is no access to the beach. Our sheets smelled like mildew every night. The staff is very kind but there is a small sense of that American attitude of we’re only doing it bc we have to vibe. The food is good at the restaurants. The breakfast buffet at Helios was terrible. The alcohol was fake or extremely diluted, you could drink all day and not feel a buzz. I wouldn’t return or recommend TRS.

This was our second time visiting TRS and it was a wonderful visit. Their Expedia Representative, Fernanda, was wonderful and planned we received a couple dinner surprises as a result of booking through Expedia. The hospitality is top notch and all the staff and employees are great. We did notice that compared to our prior visit a few years ago, it took much longer to get a transport cart whereas last time when it was noticed you had a TRS bracelet, an effort was made to prioritize your transport. The food at the a la cart restaurants were exceptional with the exception of Gaucho which appears to have had a menu change and was quite disappointing compared to what we last remembered. We have to shout out Reuben, our waiter at La Boheme, who was entertaining and awesome. Zentropia, the spa was great, as we participated in Hydrotherapy daily and had a great message from Cristina as part of our PTC experience. We will definitely be back again

There was a lot of ocean plant-matter on the beach. Not the fault of the resort, just a seasonal thing. Unfortunately it caused a terrible rotting smell and made the ocean gross to swim in. They were cleaning it up when I left.

Staff always makes sure you feels special, was there celebrating a birthday and at every dinner they mentioned or did something special for the birthday. Room was super clean everyday and the butler service was amazing, handled everything for us with a simple text, dining reservations, carts for transport, any issues with the room ETC. over all great experience!!! Will come back
