We liked the all included meals & beverages. It was our first time in this hotel & we liked the connecting walks to the other hotel nearby. The hotel was very beautiful with views from the ocean to the swimming area. Very clean, Very kind & friendly people. We loved the shows. We did not like that we were unable to take food to our hotel room or to the pool area especially on the late nights after touring the city.. Not enough options for room service.. Also, had a very scary moment a few days ago. While we were at lunch at Barcelo Tropical, Mariachi grill. another The people sitting next to the table we were sent too took my personal bag while I left it behind to go get food from the buffet. My room keys, phone, glasses & personal items were in that bag! Those people clearly saw me from the moment we arrived & took advantage to take my belongings. Thankfully my 11 year old daughter spotted my bag & I took it away asap!! The tourist people were not trustworthy & they left the minute I got my bag. I failed to report the problem to the hotel because I did not know. I hope there are cameras all over for the safety of other tourist especially in the swimming areas.

My family and I loved the resort. There was so much to do and the staff was so nice and accommodating. We stayed for six nights and could only eat at 3 of the restaurants. We would like to have been able to book more restaurants instead of the buffet. I would definitely recommend this resort.

I would like led better communication on where stuff was and how to get to place like the mall. Didn’t know there was drink menu until my last day. Didn’t know there was a bus that took you around the resort to the mall. And I think the food could have been better but overall would definitely come back to the resort.

We have stayed at several of the hotels here including the palace for a total of 7 times in the past 14 years. Beach is beautiful, facilities are well maintained and the food has been improving over the years. Staff is helpful but they need to smile more!

The rooms were as expected. clean , 2 beds nothing out of the ordinary. The bathroom however was gross . The shower head barely worked. it was covered in calcium deposits. The button to flush did not work properly it seemed to be broken partially. Also the AC left an unpleasant odor in the room . The buffet dinning was good overall , plenty of options. However trying to get a reservation in both of their restaurants was impossible even close to one week out .I believe it was due to the amount of people staying at the resort and the capacity the restaurant could offer on a daily basis. The pool was ordinary , 4 ft depth and the pool bar had also the standard drinks. I stayed at the beach most of the time which was great , it is a mix of rocks and sand so i recommend rock shoes.

Loved the grounds, pretty big resort, could walk quite a bit. Loved the food, beach cleaned every day. Very friendly staff, no standing in line at restaurants. Really liked that we could snorkel at the resort. Some complain that there are rocks at the beach, but that's exactly what gave as the chance do a lot of snorkeling. Huge pools, always available lounges. Great resort.

If you don't book premium you are signing up for the 2 star buffet every night for dinner. All of the a la carte restaurants are prebooked and you can't reserve in advance. Would be nice to know in advance. Bowling is not included, and out of 6 lanes only two were functional. Tips tips tips, didn't think I neededy wallet at an all inclusive. Hands out everywhere.

I liked the good condition of the property, the cleaness, security, transportation, the quality of the shows and variety of food. I did not feel some of the staff to be as friendly as normally mexican people are. In my opinion, there's field for some improvement in that area.

I loved the hotel's pool, it's very large with several swimming areas. The buffet food has to improve, it's not very good and they always had the same thing. The hotel staff was not very friendly.
