We had an amazing stay at the Catalonia Royal Tulum. The resort itself is paradise. It is hard to imagine a more stunning location. From the lobby you immediately recognize the serene location. Staff were friendly and helpful right away. We were met with welcome drinks and cold towels. Walking through the rainforest to our rooms and the beach is wonderful. It never gets old to traverse this gorgeous location. The white sand beach is magical. We loved all of the facilities. The pool is excellent, especially with the swim up bar. There are some great food options, too. We particularly loved Mamma Mia and Steakville for dinners. The service at those locations is incredible, and the food is exceptional. Each restaurant offers a fine dining experience with 3 or 4 course meals. Carmen at Mamma Mia was a great server and made our dinner experiences so pleasurable as well. The La Palapa buffet exceeded our expectations. We loved the fresh tacos at lunch. There are so many food options, and a great mix of local options and familiar, homey options too. Quesabelle was such a wonderful hostess who consistently made us feel welcomed and happy every time we stepped in for a meal. The staff and facilities are amazing, and the natural beauty of the resort will take your breath away. We loved our experience at this resort in Tulum and we highly recommend you go visit as well if you are looking for a luxurious, classy, relaxing, beautiful vacation.

The property is beautiful and I love how it feels like a natural jungle. The pool was great and we had such a great time hanging out in the pool. I was disappointed in Bloved, as we paid extra for upgrading and the food wasn’t even that great. The drinks were very inconsistent, some super sweet, some with no sweetness, others made completely different.

this is a beautiful resort, but if you can't walk a lot, this is not the place for you. There's a lot of walking. It's beautiful in the forest, but there is a lot of walking and they don't have umbrellas on the beach and when it's really really sunny, you can get sunburnt so be very careful. The beach is gorgeous and beautiful. The sand is white, but there's a lot of seaweed and the waves are not so small so if you want to go in the water a lot, there are lots of waves. The service is great. The only other thing I would complain about is that you have to make reservations for the restaurants yourself and it's a little bit difficult. You have to use an app.

The staff were very attentive and made our stay very memorable. The reception team and pool team elevated the everyday experience. Huge shoutout to Quetzabel in La Palapa buffet for being so welcoming and bright. Her energy is refreshing between breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Great stay and would stay again!

Dinner reservations inside building is HOT! The lobby hot!!! I got traveling diarrhea with chills. I’m still trying to recover. The ball guy never showed up to pick up our luggage. Buffet needs to be changed up daily ;it seems same food is served. :(

We booked this trip for my friends birthday. We loved the room and the facilities. The pool was very nice & we enjoyed the sauna. The beach & water is very accessible. The pool & restaurants are far enough away from the rooms that you can have peace & quiet. We also saw so many animals- monkeys, raccoons & other local wildlife. We liked the restaurant options and chose to upgrade to privileged— it was worth it for lunch & breakfast at Beloved. The staff was so nice & really made my friends birthday special. They sang at breakfast , put a sign on our door and left a treat in the room for her. I’d recommend this all inclusive to everyone!

FOOD was absolutely terrible- had to go offsite to eat- buffet and pool side restaurant was okay but dinners were sometimes so bad we couldn’t eat them. Rauxa show was fun- pool/bars very nice- nice beach (lots of sea weed but they try to keep it picked up) rooms were very basic - decently clean just old. Did find a lizard in the shower on last day. Ordered room service on night one and it never came. Water in room was plentiful and room service came a lot so everything stayed stocked. Resort overall was fine for the cheaper price but would not stay again.

We had a great stay on our third time to visit CRT. Everything met the high standards as expected (hospitality, room, amenities, food, beach, etc...) and met some fantastic staff. We were well taken care of and made great memories (DR).
