My room was far away from the main property and there was trash thrown all over. I picked up bags, cans, plastic bottles, cigarette butts and plate teeth cleaners. My room had a giant stain and the carpet and a hole visible threw the roof.

Wonderful place to stay. We were lucky enough to see bison every morning in the open space just off property. All the sights were within an easy driving distance and the room was clean and wonderful. The staff was helpful and kind and we will be back on our next trip for sure.

The room decor was very funny someone had obviously taken care to plan it. But, the room was not very clean (I won’t go into details but it looked like they stopped cleaning half way through). No toilet paper or simple amenities such as coffee creamer and sugar. They said to put “do not disturb sign” on the door by 8:00 am, but no sign was given. And, the decor was cute and the sheets seemed clean, but the buildings are old and in need of a little TLC (it was next to impossible to get the sliding door open/closed and equally hard to lock it!). The front desk staff was very nice and the lodge was also nice, and it was very convenient to have the cantina on sight. It was not a horrible visit but the uncleanliness and lack of care in some simple things ( no toilet paper!!) kind of overshadowed the good stuff. The lake was beautiful and we heard a bull elk bugling right outside our window!

There will be no WiFi no tv no phone no refrigerator no breakfast for this hotel . Among the four key cards gave to me, only one key card worked. The environment is gorgeous, the service is bad.

The lodge was very clean and super convenient. There is no WiFi which I didn’t realize before booking, but was ok. The room was spacious and beds were comfy. Good water pressure and hot water plus heater that warmed up the room quickly (in a cold September night). Note that it doesn’t include a fridge nor microwave, kettle to boils water for a tee or instant noddles. There may have been a one cup coffee maker.

Their room rate is probably the hightest in the vicenity, and yet there is no wifi in the cabin room. The desk felt dusty and I picked up dirt when wiped with a piece of damp cloth.

Lake Yellowstone is gorgeous and it was a nice place to stay in the Park on the Lake. Food choices were okay, but there was no choice of where to eat. Overall nice spot
