Great location but ...

The positives first, its a great location, in easy walking distance of all of York city attractions and the parking permit was really useful. The property provided all the basics for self catering accommodation and the bed was comfortable. The negatives, black mold on the bathroom ceiling, the smell of damp especially when opening the kitchen cupboards, stains on the carpet, broken toaster, filthy bedroom windows looking out onto a brick wall and the "private patio" is a dark and dingy space between two drains.

Booked at 4pm and it was cancelled at 4am the following day. I thought by booking through Expedia I was avoiding the risk of having bookings falling through.
