Absolutely beautiful spot in the centre of York. Very impressed with this hotel for the money. Great service and hotel is well maintained. Breakfast was very nice. Only negative is that the parking lot is limited and very tight especially for larger cars.

The room was spotless and the location convenient to walk into the city centre with lovely views (even though our side of the building didn't have a river view). The tv was temperamental (kept turning off) but the hotel felt secure. Parking was available, though tricky navigating the pillars, and cost £20 per night. I would stay again if good deals available.

Okay place

No communication from hotels.com with the hotel so wrong room type given and no early check in even though it had been requested as i knew i would be driving 5 hours to it. Reception staff rude and couldnt be bothered on check in. And rooms are small with a long walk to some.

Riverside hotel, easy walk into York centre. Good breakfast choices. Messy check in but apart from that a nice stay, comfy bed in a cosy room, bar area had a great view over the Ouse.

Mixed bag of a stay.

The location is good, the rooms modern and clean. The breakfast was lovely. We were disappointed by the comfort of the bed , mattress and pillows. I know that this can be personal choice eg: firmness of items, but what was frustrating was that after the first night we asked for a change of pillows, mattress topper and for shampoo and conditioner to be placed in the room (as they were not there first night). This was not actioned throughout the day and we had to call and ask again in the evening. We had a river view- lovely. But please be aware that the noise from the bars opposite carries. Parking option is excellent.

The hotel was very clean room was great had a little balcony and view of the river. Nothing was any bother we asked for extra coffee sachets and were given them we didn’t have breakfast room only but plenty of places near to eat out We will be back
