The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very nicely decorated and spotless. The hotel was only a 15 minute walk from the city centre so the location was great.

Beautiful building, some beautiful original features, ‘modern’ decor lets it down (my opinion), room was large, bed was comfortable, had all needed items tv, kettle , iron , and welcome items etc… tired carpet though , tired furniture, shower functionality awful, also car parking charged @ £18 per day, I was never informed of any charges was just taken off my card without my knowledge . (Clementine suite )

Rooms were spotless , staff very friendly & helpful, location was a 5 min walk into town with the Minster on your door step ,will definitely stay here again on my next visit .

The staff at the Churchill were amazingly helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful, just a short walk from the centre. The main problem we had was with the room, it was very dusty and the bathroom had several issues, such as the flooring

Comfy bed and clean room. Food was good. The hotel is just 8 minutes walk from the Minster and shopping areas. We found the hotel a bit gloomy and dark, but appreciate that it's in keeping with the Churchill theme.
