ask - original rooms v. new section

Stay was fine, but we did not know until after check in and the 5 min walk to a different part of the hotel that we were put in rooms far from the lobby in a new section of the hotel. Would have liked to be asked if we preferred the original charming part of the hotel which was why we chose it.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The room was very spacious and offered excellent value for money. The location was ideal—central and easily walkable into the heart of York, which made exploring the city a breeze.
