We had to leave early in the morning to get to Chiayi and the staff provided us with two hot lattes and a freshly baked loaf of bread which was a lovely, thoughtful gesture.

Awesome views. “Traditional” rooms very dated

Awesome sunset views from the rooftop. Great Alishan location close to trails (and away from everything else). The main building looks very good, but our room was in the “traditional” part — which is very dated. Clean and well maintained but very dated indeed

Good location

The hotel is located in the middle of the street with a lot stalls open at the night. Just minutes walking distance to the pier. The stalls nearby sell rice wine tat worth it a try. The wild boar dishes served in nearby restaurant is a must try dish. Family mart is nearby too. The hotel breakfast variety is less, mostly porridge with side dishes and toast. Lobby reception is not 24hrs, any request after 9pm will not be answered. Room is big but bathroom cleanliness can be better, rain shower dripping after use. Overall is satisfying stay.

Nice Hotel, close to the lake

This hotel is awesome! I stayed in a family room with a friends. The bathroom has a spa-like pool with a waterfall shower. The room has electronic controls and two tvs for both sides of the room. It is very big and close to all the action at Sun moon lake. You can literally walk to the cable cars.

Nice Boutique Hotel.

Right in the heart of town. Near to the jetty for boat ride across the lake. Cable car is also nearby.

Super nice minsu that has hotel standards. The minsu is run by a married couple and they handle the entire operations. We got upgraded to the bigger room because we stayed 2 nights and the room is super nice! Extremely big bathtub. Comfy bed. Location wise isnt very accessible since it is at sun moon lake Ita Thao Pier area. most shops closes around 8pm. They serve breakfast, cooked by the minsu owner himself. The food was better than some hotel's buffet breakfast.

Cosy hotel situated right in the middle of the street fares. Plenty of street food to eat. Breakfast is wonderful. Personally made by the owner. Nice view of the lake for morning breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay here . The room is new , modern and clean . Everything worked well . The owner of the b&b is very helpful and friendly . The location is near to cable car and streets of food.

Manager let us check in 4 hours early . Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful on any questions we had .room was clean and modern.In fact I never saw the staff not cleaning.breakfast was tasty and fresh.

Awesome hotel

This hotel is one of the best that I've stayed. The owner is very friendly and gave us lots of tips about local tourism and dining. The room is very well decorated, and the beds and sheets are super comfortable. On top of all the great things, the morning breakfast got to be the best of the best. We tried both Chinese and Western style breakfasts and both are gorgeous.
