Did the job right in the centre of Gyõr. Room fairly plain and basic, but everything worked. Breakfast acceptable. Love the build and the history.

Although the property is older, it is definitely well taken care of. Close to the older part of town and less than a ten minute walk from the train station you can't go wrong staying here. I will say it was one of the smallest beds I've ever slept on. One other cool note, the Pope stayed here once!

Smart looking hotel in former convent, in Spain/Portugal this would be a Parador/Pousada but it might need a bit of spruce to get up to 5 stars. Atmospheric place and a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful, location is bang in the centre next to the river, about 10 mins from the rail station.

Interesting old building in a great location for exploring Gyor. Close to the center but quiet. Excellent breakfast and super helpful staff. Everything worked everyone was helpful and great value. We were only here for one night but it was at the end of a hectic month of travel. In Gyor fairly frequently but this was our first time at the Kastrom we will be back.

A former convent nicely turned into a hotel. The standard room is small but comfortable. The bathroom has a tub and shower nozzle, but no curtain. An ample breakfast and a friendly staff. Gyor is a charming small city, well worth a stop between Budapest and Vienna. Two great dinners in town.

Excellent city to visit.

Gyor is a gem. Great restaurants and city sites. The Klastrom is in a quiet area next to the old town.
