Very clean, up-to-date and tastefully decorated hotel. We had a problem with the internet in our original room, so they moved us to a different room where it was fine. The included breakfast was outstanding. All of the front desk staff we dealt with were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

A Peaceful Stay by the River in Zermatt

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and all spoke excellent English. The location is perfect—just a 7-minute walk from the train station and the Sunnegga funicular, with a bus stop for Matterhorn Paradise conveniently located right across the street. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the views. Breakfast was tasty, and the coffee was excellent. In the evening, the soothing sound of the nearby river added an extra touch of coziness to our stay.

Trendy and lovely

I really loved this hotel. It was trendy, close to the train station, and had a delicious breakfast. The elevator on my side of the hotel was out when I was there, but the porter lugged my bags up for me. The room itself was small but the balcony with Mountain View and bathroom with soaker tub made up for the lack of space. My only wish was a shuttle ride to the train stop. The staff were very nice and welcoming!

Staff there wasnt as friendly. Not sure is it because we are asian. Requested for a higher floor for a better view way ahead but was given the lowest level instead. Breakfast food was not bad even though it was mainly the standard breakfast food. Was a 10 mins walk to the main station. If you require a drive from the hotel to train station need to pay for it as well.

Very nice in a modest, rustic alps way. Great location, minutes from ski rental, lifts, train and Zermatt town center. Very clean and if you are lucky enough to have Matterhorn view with balcony (i did) you have one of the best views in all of Zermatt. Staff are very nice and helpful. On our 2 week tour of Alps, Paris and Venice (including our 4 nights at 5 star Hilton Stucky) this was our favorite destination, a large part due to this hotel! thank you Hotel Perren
