Hotel is basically ok, not great . You can get better hotels at this price. For eating outside , there are not much choices . One of the better one was Magic Salad and Japanese cuisine.

Great stay for our adoption...

We traveled to Zhengzhou to adopt our 3 yr old son and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for 3 days. Our stay was excellent. The hotel was very nice and accommodating. The room was very nice and the staff was outstanding. We speak zero Chinese so we did notice that almost of the staff spoke no English which made for a few difficult exchanges. We were hoping that sense it was a Marriott that things would be more English friendly. The hotel is also in a business district so there is little to no access to any stores or restaurants in the immediate area. We would definitely stay there again or recommend it.

Perhaps my expectations were too high but the Courtyard offered nothing special to justify the higher price compared with other Western hotel brands in the area. I called to ask if they offered a shuttle service to/from the airport or train station but it would have cost more than our room price to get a pick-up from the airport and over 60% of our room price to get a pick-up from the East Train Station which is within 10 minutes walking distance of the hotel. I didn't expect transportation to be free, but the cost in proportion to our room cost was absurd. I also inquired about a special request for our room when booking and provided contact information but the staff never reached out to me about the request. The breakfast was okay, but again, quite typical for Western hotels in Zhengzhou. The room was probably the highlight. It was very clean and well decorated with an amazing shower (although the lack of a tub was disappointing). Overall, it wasn't a bad stay but given the price and costs of additional services, I would have a hard time recommending this hotel.

One of the best hotel in Zhengzhou

From the moment you walked in to the lobby, you can tell this is a very well maintained and clean hotel. The room we stayed in was very large, plenty of closet space, nice views and the best shower system I have ever seen in a hotel, rain shower with high water pressure.

The best hotel in Zhengzhou

I had to stay in Zhengzhou for two weeks. My clients has a lot of out of town business people who come here, they didn't know which hotel was the best, people would tell me different hotels were the best, but no one stood out. I decided to try them all, I had the time. I tried almost all of the 5 star hotels and some of the 4 star hotels. I ended my search with this one, it was perfect, only the location is not, but it will be in the near future, it is the new section of Zhengzhou. My room was the size of a small apartment. The people and service here are impeccable.
