This place has pros and cons. Pros: very fast internet speeds, quiet for most of the stay unless your room is next to someone who is loud (in my case teens watching cartoons all night long at full volume), direct beach access, great local breakfast spots under 15 mins away, friendly staff. Cons: never did house keeping my whole stay (5days), shower kept getting clogged, shower also was cold until water ran for a few minutes, no breakfast, tiny toilets for someone big and tall

This is one of our favorite locations. The restaurant is nice, but also there is a lot of quick bite locations in town, or a grocery store if you want to picnic at the beach. We Love the private beach access, but often do go to the state Park beach as well. The only think missing lately has been the morning coffee! We used to be able to get coffee in the lobby in the morning, last two trips we had to drive to a coffee shop to get coffee as staff was not making coffee in the morning anymore.

I had reserved two rooms, one had mold up and down the walls in the bathroom and we needed to be moved to a different room. You can tell the hotel has went under a recent remodel but it truly is a outdated hotel. They serve breakfast at a high price of $20.00 per guest and it's something my six year old could make. The only thing about this hotel is the view or the water and the beach that makes it what it is. Also, the staff were very respectful and nice.

We ate at Nolan’s and the food was absolutely amazing flavorful, fresh, and served with great hospitality. It truly made the experience complete. Whether you’re visiting for a getaway or just stopping through, I highly recommend checking this place out. You’ll leave full, happy, and refreshed! 🌊✨

Overall, the place itself was nice. We went in October, so it was very desolate. However, I think this place would be good to stay at during the summer. At night it does seem kind of creepy going down the road to get there (dark and the speed limit is only 20 mph), but it is in a state park, so there is that.

Room didn't appear to have been clean properly. There was rubbish on the floor and a dirty flannel/wash cloth in the bathroom. The corridor outside the room clearly hadn't been hoovered, it was left dirty for the two days we were staying. The shower was cold on day two.
