We stayed in both the superior quadruple room and the standard double room. The former is excellent and we give a five-star rating for that stay. However, when we changed to the front/street side double room, it is not as nice as the previous one at all. Of course, the front desk staffs are always very friendly and courtesy. The problem is that the front side is not as quiet as the back side. To be fair, for the most of the night it was pretty quiet. But there were just a couple of cars whizzing past the street below Very early in the morning, like 5 o'clock, enough to waken us. The bigger problem is the sewage smell always come out from the bathroom. I believe there is a problem with the U-shaped pipes or something.

Hotel Bristol is only a 5 minute walk from the main station so very convenient. Close to lots of places to eat, trams and buses. Our triple room was comfortable and very clean. A bit of a tight squeeze and the bathroom is tiny but for a few nights, it was fine. Staff were super friendly too.

Had a wonderful stay here! Hotel was beautiful, convenient to everything, and very affordable. Staff was lovely and accommodating. Only thing I didn’t love was sometimes the bathroom smelt a little, but besides that it was perfect.

We really liked this place- it’s very well kept and in a very central location, especially convenient to the main train station. Only complaint is that we were on the top floor and our room was quite warm.

The hotel was very close to the train station and and tram. Restaurants were also only a 5-10 minute walk away so it was very centrally located and convenient. We had a very pleasant one night stay in a family room that was clean and spacious for 2 adults and 2 teenagers.

Extremely friendly receptionist who didn't bother to go up and down to check whether our rooms were ready and, if not, would like to take our luggage for temporary storage. Hotel itself is nice, quite, and clean. The location is wonderful for tourists to Zurich.
