Great Place to Stay

Great place in many ways. Remodeled a few years ago. Well equipped kitchen. No fee laundry. 15 minute trolley to downtown zurich. Supermarket 2 minute walk. 15 minute walk to oerlikon train staion to airport. Elevator..

We chose this property because we needed a place to do our laundry. Photos showed a washer and dryer along with soap and dryer sheets. It wasn’t until after checking in that we discovered we were on the top floor and the washer/dryers were shared between all renters and kept in the basement. A little creepy down there. There were printed instructions that were helpful some but did not match 100% since the machines were different. There’s also a note when you get down there that you must supply your own detergents etc. As far as the room, the bed was by far the smallest we had for any of our stays and not comfortable. I definitely would not recommend for two people. Otherwise, the room was nice in that it had a setup for eating in. Only complaints in the kitchen were that where the microwave is arranged there is no outlet so you have to pick it up and move it to the other side of the kitchen in order to use it. Also, the wardrobe it set up so close to the refrigerator that the freezer is unusable as you cannot get it open without moving massive pieces of furniture. Overall, it was adequate for a single night to meets our needs for a very short stay. We checked in pretty late and left very early.

The property was close to the public transportation which made it super easy to explore the city. Very comfortable for 4 adults well stocked with everything you needed for a confortable stay.
