The 30 minute walk from the airport isn’t bad. There’s a train station right behind though, that we could have used. The room (actually a suite with two rooms) was great for the three of us, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Our stay at Allegra Lodge was decent and generally comfortable. The hotel has a modern design and is conveniently located near Zurich Airport, which made it a good stop for our arrival and departure days. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the lobby area had a nice atmosphere. However, the experience overall felt more average than exceptional. Check-in was smooth, but communication could be more attentive. Some small things, like room lighting and amenities, felt basic for a hotel in this category. Also, parking arrangements and information for travelers with electric vehicles could be clearer. That said, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a short stay near the airport — just don’t expect a luxury or standout experience.

Did not like that the rooms don’t have air conditioning. We did have a portable fan but that didn’t help much. We couldn’t leave the window open because of the noise from the train station outside. The other thing was there were no ice machines. Had to go to bar that was in another building to get ice. Other than the these two items it was fine.

Wonderful hotel,close to airport in a nice area. Next to the train station. The only downside was the hotel is literally next to the train tracks and gets noisy during the night.
