The Sternen Oerlikon is a hidden gem. The entire staff is warm and helpful, from the front desk, to the housekeeper to the breakfast waitress. The hotel is quiet and spotless and a less than 10 minute walk to the Orelikon HB.

Very warm welcome (especially considering it is a city hotel), the staff all very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. The location is really well connected. I travel quite a lot and generally most hotels don't stand out - this one did - I would stay again next time I am in Zurich.

The bed is not comfortable in our back. There is only 1 pillow provided each that gets really flat. We wake up feel so tired because of the bed .

Cot not set up as requested. Room didn't get dark.

We requested a cot well in advance, this was not ready for our daughter when we arrived and we had to call down to ask for one to be brought. They charge for our 3 month old as an additional person but the cot isn't included in that price and was an extra 30 CHF which seems unreasonable charge for one or the other. None of this would be acceptable for an adult and I don't think it's acceptable for a baby. The curtains are so thin that even at night time light comes through them. It was like having two layers of netting. This is another hotel which uses eco-friendlyness as an excuse to cheap out on what is available in the room.

Reasonably priced hotel convenient waking distance to the stadium for a concert, clean, with all basic amenities. Tram to the airport takes 15-20 min. Has paid parking in the back
