The room was very small and without air con or a window. The shower did not have a door and there was hair EVERYWHERE in puddles of water from prior people's showers.
Peaceful and relaxing with an abundance of facilities to keep entertained such as table tennis, hot tub, hammocks, benches, large outdoor chess game and of course the beach itself. This is the "Xena" beach and the scenery is definitely spectacular. The place has a very home-like feel and owners Trude ...
We had a great time, tidy and comfortable with space to move and facilities for the kids. Friendly hosts and a tranquil spot in a great location.
Very clean, modern facilities. Decent sized room. Good location and well priced for what you get.
The lady at the counter was very friendly and inviting. She was expecting us when we arrived and called us by name as we walked into the reception area. She walked us to our room, which she had upgraded! The room was exceptionally comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and ...
Room is clean, as expected. The manager is very f Indy and helpful. It is along the Amain street, providing easy access to local facilities.
Nice situation by the sea. Reasonable price. VERY basic - needs an upgrade in main room & kitchen. Bathroom was new & nice. Dish cloth was disgusting & bed covers didn't feel very clean. No free wi-fi is pretty outdated. Welcome did not feel very friendly. Probably wouldn't stay again
Great central location. Close to central city, and Margare Mahy Park
We spent two nights here and the apartment was perfect for our family. We loved it here and really enjoyed the beach.
Great room. Modern . Great country feel. Staff were great , and nice to be able to bring our dog . Would definitely come back .. thank you
The view was fantastic. Staff were friendly. However, the room was tired and scuffed. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Mould on the tops of the windows. Lots of scuff marks and damage to skirtings and around the spa bath.
Position of the Quest was great, right in the centre of town
Handy to Russell and all the surrounding tourist spots. Friendly and helpful staff.
The proprieters were helpful. The unit was very clean. The campground was quiet. Beautiful location.
Extremely clean and tidy. First and lasting impression was "Great". Everything you could need was provided including broom, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer...brilliant. Would definitely recommend this unit. Staff were extremely helpful. Handy to the beach...just a short flat walk across the dunes. Bird ...
Excellent place to stay. Clean, spacious, easy access to the pool. We would definitely stay here again.
2 bed unit perfect for our family of 5 Good location and facilities, clean & tidy Bit of mould on the shower tiles & outside light not working
i had to make a last minute booking as my flights had been changed around, the price was exceptional for a last moment booking and the staff were very well mannered. the toilets and showers were very clean and well maintained.
Excellent Customer service, very informative. Only stayed two nights but enjoyed it. Quiet and peaceful setting. Well priced. Amenities very clean and well stocked. Would definitely come back.
Outdoor BBQ area was clean and well lit for winter. Friends young woman on reception
Had a great stay met some really nice people the facilities were clean and comfortable
We had stayed at this holiday park before and for a similar price we had a nice two bedroom unit with shower, kitchen and tv. This cabin is a shed with two bunks and a double bed in the same small space - no toilet, no shower, no fridge ... not even a bed side lamp for reading. Really, it was a wooden ...
No complaints. Friendly helpful staff, & our self contained unit was perfect for two people. Definately would stay there again.
We arrived to a warm and cheerful reception (like we were old friends) and offered city maps to utilise. Our room was spotless, cosy and inviting. The peace and tranquility was very welcome and we were grateful that there was a supermarket and petrol station just down the road. We enjoyed the relaxing ...
It was ok but room could have been cleaner..nice clean towels everyday for a clean bathroom, and newspaper every day nice touch. Breakfast was good, nice cereals, juice, toast, tea and coffee
Location was great. Good parking. There was t and coffee etc in our room but sadly we only found the kettle the next morning in the bathroom cupboard. This says hotel but really its an air bnb. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in adjoining rooms. Not good for any romance
Our first B&B stay. Barbara was very welcoming without crowding. The property was great, kids loved the spa and animals. Only negative is it is out of the city, however close to other great locations such as Esplanade at St Clair.
Clean tidy and inviting, we enjoyed a hot spa on a very cold evening. The outdoor areas are very nice with spectacular views in the morning. A really nice place to wake up to. The breakfast is very generous, I don't know how they make money, seems very good value.
I stayed one night with my daughter to go skiing. The room was tidy and beds well made and comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were clean and warm water. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. I phone ahead to say I was late and she txt me the directions to my room and ...
Lyle. Real. Intelligent. Manaaki guru. All the best guys. Parking unsatisfactory too little
A beautiful B&B everything was not a problem for the Shakespeare crew. Room was lovely, clean and the bed was comfortable. Free WiFi in the room is a plus and the breakfast was great. Thank you
Great place to stay. Close to town and much better than a stuffy hotel. Beautiful rooms. Only thing was in my room it smelt like maybe someone had smoked in there at some stage. Not strong but noticed it when I first went in. Other than that - would definitely stay again. Great staff.
À good choice. Includes a good breakfast. Great location in the arts section of the City.
A lovely place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by James on the front steps and a very affectionate ginger cat. Our room was very comfortable and the underfloor heating in the bathroom and toilet was magnificent! The photos on the website are exactly how it is. Gorgeous surrounds - so quite and very ...
A short walk from airport. Small but clean tidy room with a very comfortable bed. Very reasonably priced. We did not use common kitchen area or look at it as it was only a very short stay. I’d be very happy to stay there again next time we visit Christchurch.
Very clean and tidy, fast efficient reception. Mattress wasn’t the best.
Very good location, friendly staff, good value for money
We were in the king rooms 3rd floor, it's a very central location but a tad noisy until late in the evening from the downstairs bars and restaurants. If you like to read in bed that was a no go because the one working light was too low to read by and the other didn't work The shower room was awkward ...
If you get one of the rooms at the front side of the hostel facing the street, it is really really noisy and unfortunately the window has to be kept open as it's the only ventilation
Bed was comfortable. Wifi was slow. Parking and location difficult. Don't mind sharing facilities but the other couple had the heating turned up ridiculously high and the kitchen was a pigsty when I arrived. Also their belongings were all over the common areas.
Stayed in a single room with a double bed which was fine, didn't use kitchen facilities other than to fill the kettle for the room. Bathroom smelled terribly of mould/mildew, there's not enough ventilation for it to be a bathroom - looks more like a poorly converted office.
Basic but good room, great price, easy access to the city
The lift felt a little unsafe. The room was what we paid for but the beds felt shaky. Smokers out the front door were unpleasant to pass by. The facilities needed maintenance. But the site was accessible to the city and the staff were pleasant enough.
There is no signage outside that says it is the Fort Street Hostel. It is actually called Nomads. Reception had a back in 5 minutes sign and I had to wait for 15 minutes before I tracked someone down to check me in.
Decent accomdation for a backpacker on the way to Milford Sound. Located in the middle of nowhere so nothing around but good kitchen to cook in if you pick up groceries on the way in. Very old style and outdated and only an option to purchase expensive wifi, but decent rooms for a short stopever ...
Room nice. But noisy, toilets not great! But nice people in the room. Don't know what more to write. But overall I would recommend it. Wanaka is a great place!
