Everything was excellent, food lication, friendly staff, the only disappointment was the bed, I would have preferred a standard double bed rather than two large bed put together, which made the bed uncomfortable and too big. Otherwise the room was a lovely size lovely ensuite was very clean.

Great location and easy to explore the town on foot. The restaurant had limited dinner options due to a group booking. There was a billing issue at the bar caused by the hotel, but staff were argumentative and offered no reassurance. In the morning, there was no hot water in either of our rooms. Although the manager apologized and promised a refund, nothing was done. Disappointing service overall.

Absolutely fantastic hotel but the staff were absolutely fantastic. Their attention to details was spot on. The breakfast staff & Mags I think that was her name, short lady with blonde hair in a suit was so efficient at her job. Overall I would love to stay here again

This modern property is right in the heart of town. Just an easy walk to the shop, bars and the castle. The town is full of charm and I only wish was that I spent more time. The car park isn't part of the property but is only across the road with the hotel giving a discounted rate. Breakfast was good with a good selection of both hot and cold

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, and we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea there. However, I was informed that my teenagers, aged 14 and 16, couldn't use the pool without supervision. Additionally, the garage across the street had a non-functional elevator, which made handling our luggage quite challenging.

Overall great

Check in and check out was quick and easy. Overall the hotel is in great condition and modern. The bathroom could do with a little upgrade in comparison - and very annoyingly the toilet roll holder is extremely close to the toilet meaning you have to sit sideways to avoid having your leg against it. The breakfast was a little disappointing and a strange set up. It was very expensive for a 'buffet' experience. You could get your own cereal and toast etc but the hot food was behind a railing that you had to have served to you by a member of staff. For the amount being paid this felt a little mean. We also had to go back downstairs and have our room keys reset twice in the two days we were staying there as they stopped working. Overall it's a lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The room was a great size and comfortable. The staff are lovely and I would definitely stay here again.

Shower in room did not work and there were areas of the room that required a deeper clean. We also had an intoxicated customer arrive at our room door during the night and trying to break the door open. Staff however were excellent and made our stay.

Lovely but needs updating

The staff at the hotel were great, really kind & helpful. The room very big, had everything we needed in it. However the bathroom was very rundown, felt dirty. Lots of old shower products on the tiles, hair in the bath. I asked for it to be cleaned again, however it still felt old and dirty after the second clean. Location of the hotel was great, right in the centre of town but not noisy. Parking across the road was handy, it’s cheaper to pay the carpark directly than pay via the hotel. Overall it was a nice stay apart from the bathroom.
