The hotel's ambiance was warm and inviting, and the beautiful location offered a serene getaway in a scenic setting. The hotel room was spacious, well-appointed, and clean, providing a relaxing space after a long day of exploring. The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional, making check-in and check-out a breeze. They were more than happy to provide valuable information on local attractions and activities, enhancing my overall travel experience. While my stay was fantastic, I must mention a minor disappointment during my dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Unfortunately, I had to leave after waiting for 20 minutes as the server did not show up to take my order. This was a small blemish on an otherwise enjoyable stay. Despite this hiccup, I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Algarve.

Excellent property in the Old Town of Albufeira. Rooms and food are brilliant. Yes there are a lot of steps if you're walking up from the Old Town Square but if you're as fit as me 😎, they're not an issue. A taxi from the old town costs about 3 Euros up the hill so utterly recommended.

We spent six days at the hotel and it was amazing. The people were friendly, helpful and very professional. The furniture is a little old but in good condition. You have to pay separately for the in-room safe, which was new to us. But the hotel grounds are fully secured and we did not use the room safe. Very nice kitchen in the room with all appliances, coffee maker and toaster. Also all the utensils are in good condition. A great choice for a family with children. We highly recommend this hotel for a vacation.

This the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Cerro Mar. We were given a room on the corner of a block of apartments on a main road so it was very noisy with traffic at night. The property/apartment is ok quite dated. If I was ever to stay at this complex again I’d pay a little extra and stay in Cerro Mar Gardens which is linked directly to the main reception.

Clean and comfortable. We had a 1 bedroom with an ocean view. Website needs an update, as not everything is available as listed. You need to call in person to ensure a washing machine is in your suite.

The apartment was comfortable, reasonably well equipped, and the beds were good. There was daily housekeeping, and linens were changed every 3 or 4 days. There's a modest gym, sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a cold tub, and a tennis court. We ate in mostly, but there's enough restaurants open in February to eat out too. This was our second stay at Cerro Mar.

The property was great and very close to the town (very walkable but there are a number of steps that might impede if there any mobility issues - however the hotel does offer a free shuttle during the daytime). Very clean and safe with good facilities. Will stay again.

Mixture of spacious, clean apartment and good quality hotel. View was fantastic. Short walk to supermarkets. The plus and negative is a short walk up steps from old town square. This means you get great views and quiet hotel just a 2 min walk. Breakfast was excellent as well.
