The hotel’s location was great, but that’s about it. Our stay started poorly when we were given a room without a shower, though they did upgrade us to a larger room (fourth floor). However, it was right below a noisy terrace bar, and the room wasn’t soundproof. The gym was small, outdated, and not well-maintained. The spa was even worse—we paid €60 per massage plus €25 for spa access, only to be rushed out after 30 minutes without prior notice. The hotel refused to offer any reimbursement. Accessing the gym and spa was inconvenient, requiring guests to step outside—even in the rain—to reach a separate elevator. The layout felt poorly designed and hazardous. Staff engagement was minimal unless we were complaining. Overall, the hotel felt overpriced and more like a 3-star than a 5-star. We wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Our second stay in the EME Mercer in 6 months, this time returning with our daughters. Upgraded to the penthouse rooms which was a fantastic surprise with amazing views of the Cathedral and city skyline. The staff at this hotel are fantastic, so accommodating and kind. The reception staff are helpful and the breakfast team great remembering drinks and food orders after only two mornings. We love Seville and I would not stay anywhere else now. We look forward to returning!

It’s a historic hotel in a very good location - short walking distance to main attractions. Very nice roof top. However, very loud at night (which is due to the area b/c of bars and church bells). I wouldn’t say this is a luxury property but a great, clean hotel based on location. Property needs a some maintenance.

This hôtel is classes as a 5* It isn’t!!! Although very well situated in front of the Cathedral it can’t be classed as a Five Star for the following reasons. 1. Thé noise is far too present not to notice. The Sky bar which is very nice brings hundreds of people into the hôtel who are not sleeping there. From the rooms thé noise is frankly just too much. 2. À five star hôtel has no or very very few faults. Thé hôtel is a little tired visually and needs a complete paint job 3. Cracked tiles, worn seals around thé bath, and various “problems” around the room categorise the hitel at best as a 4* So, due to its location it served us wéll and was perfectly comfortable but the 5* are definitely not justified.

The location of this hotel is perfection and I loved the room. The area is loud so earplugs are a good idea. Also for those coming from a cooler climate, we found the room a bit warm even with the thermostat turned all the way down. Still would highly recommend and stay again. Such a neat spot!

The hotel has one of the best roof top bars in the whole city. The rooms and the spa are verry comfortable. The WC and shower space in the room is tiny. Great place to stay.

Just a magic place. The location with breathtaking views of the Seville Cathedral and its Giralda tower from suites and the EME terrace. The building, combining modernism and historic architecture, is just a jewel of Seville. The staff service is amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ :-)

* Location: 5 star * Property: 4 or maybe 3.5 star (not saying it is bad, but is rated as 5-star everywhere and it just is not; it should be changed) * Convenience: 5-star (right next to the Cathedral, 200 m from the Alcazar, plenty of dining and bars all around) * Noise: 3-star (does get noisy and stays that way late into the night; And the cathdral’s massive bell tolls non-stop for like 5 minutes every hour!!) * Staff: 3-star (not friendly, very business-y) * Breakfast: 4-star (nice small spread, with made-to-order eggs) * Rooftop: Nice bar with beautiful views of cathedral and surroundings! * Overall: 3.5 star
