Lovely room, lovely staff. The only thing was it was slightly chilly in the room as the window wouldn’t close properly as the cable was going out for the Christmas lights. However this was also not helped by the windy weather

Lovely spacious room with great amenities. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing. We will definitely be back soon
We were arriving late (post 9pm when the hotel is locked up) and having confirmed this via email and numerous phone calls (mostly unanswered) we were given the key safe code and were told the room key would be on the bar. Arrived at 11.45pm key safe empty! Phoned the number for deliveries (hotel phone not answered) and a man turned up 15 mins later in pyjamas and dressing gown to let us in. Then no room key on bar but eventually accessed the room. The man found the key in the office. Suffice to say not a good start after a 6 hour drive!!
Lovely hotel in this Northumberland beauty spot. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms very comfortable with everything you need provided. Dinner on our first night was wonderful but huge portion sizes, less so on our second sadly with a tasteless curry for my husband but the staff apologies and took this off the bill. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel but avoid the curry!
Nice room which was clean, warm and comfortable with a modern en suite bathroom which had a good hot shower.
The staff were very pleasant and the range of food in the evening was good as was the quality. Parking can be a problem but through no fault of the Hotel. Good value for money.
Friendly staff on arrival and room modern and clean, with great shower and nice toiletries. Unfortunately TV would not work on our first day and - even though we reported it - had not been sorted by our second and final day, which was a bit disappointing. Asked about it when we came back in the evening after a meal but lady on duty was - how shall I say - a bit worse for wear and couldn't help. Other than that had lovely cooked breakfasts both days and Alnmouth itself is beautiful. Hopefully we'll be in a room with a working TV next time!

Staff were lovely, but we had a couple of issues.
Firstly, breakfast didn’t start till 8.30am, which we felt was an extraordinarily late start, and too late for us.
Secondly, the bathroom extractor fan was broken and no shampoo/ body wash in the shower containers.
The room was very nicely decorated. Shower was nice and hot the first day. Not so much the second. Breakfast was ok. The only thing i wish i had kniwn is that the hotel dies not open till 3 so there is nowhere to keave your cases if you arrive a little earlier. Would have been good to know this before check in.
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff really helpful. They stored our bikes and had them ready for our departure. Breakfast was delicious and a great location. Thanks!
Brilliant pub with rooms.
The room i stayed in was huge, with a lovely large bathroom and sofa/tv area. More like a suite than a double room.
There is a very good food menu and the restaurant also offers takeaway. They were completely dog friendly, not just "dogs allowed", making sure her every need is met.
They were very trusting with guests, allowing us to walk through the bar area after closing, to enter or exit the property.
Super clean
Having had a few medical issues this year, this was our first break this year and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Whilst there wasn't much of a view from the window, the room was spacious and had a great deal of storage. It is an old building and has the issues you would expect in such circumstances. The food was typical pub food, but there was plenty of it. For our taste, we would have like less emphasis on the cooked aspect of breakfast, but we were certainly in the minority of those staying. If staying in the area again, we woulf be more than happy to book again.
