Excellent stay!

Hotel was great. Staff were friendly. Went on a trip for my birthday, balloons and sweets were left in my room on arrival. In a perfect location. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is a 30 minute walk from Central Station. It's got a self-check in station but also lots of staff present to assist if you prefer to check in with them. Everyone with whom we interacted was friendly and courteous. We had a great experience and would not hesitate to stay again.

A nice hotel BUT the room was small - even though it was booked as a twin. Hardly any room for storage and only 1 single door wardrobe with 6/7 hangers. For 2 people it was congested. The bathroom had no proper door and instead 2 glass doors which meant no privacy. The breakfast was poor in that apart from cheese and cold meats, hot breakfast choice was eggs, sausages, bacon. So if you’re vegetarian or only eat halal - not much choice. Bakery items were croissant or chocolate croissant. Breakfast finishes at 1030hrs but they stop refilling at around 1000hrs - so even less choice. Security was good with key card access readers including lifts. Overall, the hotel room is average. The lobby is very nice but the rooms are small and no privacy in toilet.

Canal View Room is Awesome

Good location a block from the tram to from Central Station. Room was large, comfortable and the canal view was amazing. Staff is friendly. Only downside is that the Wi-Fi sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a hotspot so worked around connectivity issues.

It was very convenient to all the major sights and attractions. It is right on the Amstel River. The hotel is quiet and clean with a number of dining options at all price points nearby; including a well stocked supermarket, Albert Heijn about 200m away out the back door, with premade breakfast, lunch and dinner to grab and go if you'd just like to save some money and eat in your room. I already recommended the hotel to two friends who are going to Amsterdam in April.

Great hotel in excellent location

Really excellent boutique hotel in a great central location to see around Amsterdam. The Eden Hotel was really comfortable with excellent quality in the Executive room we stayed in. No external noise at night although close to some lively parts of bars and restaurants. Excellent service and help form all the lovely staff in the hotel. Would highly recommend and certainly would stay again if we go back to Amsterdam. We did not eat in hotel (buffet breakfast) so can't comment but there are other excellent options near by.
It doesn't appear very large on the frontage but inside is much larger and all the way through the block.

Way better than I was expecting. The service was great and the room was beautiful. I loved the burlesque theme throughout, it wasn't tacky of tatty. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not many alternatives out for vegans or lactose intolerant but just ask staff. Would definitely stay again.

Great area, nicely out the way of the business but very easy walk into the town (around 15/20mins). The entrance to the hotel and all of downstairs was lovely, modern and clean. Unfortunately the good ends there. The cleanliness of the room was absolutely terrible; awful smell in there, black mould all around the shower, thick layer of dust on every surface, bed had hairs and bits of dirt all over (actually wondered if it had even been changed). Disappointing after a good first impression on entering. Massive let down. Would not stay again.

Good location if you want to be close enough to walk into centre but a good enough distance away from the noise and bustle of the city centre. Rooms were quite small and shower had black mould. Very dusty. Good bar, shop and use of pool table for free. Staff were friendly and helpful if you needed them. Complimentary water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and chocolate bars in rooms was nice.
