Hotel Nes was a great hotel in a great location with public transportation nearby if walking is not for you. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes walk from the Grand Centraal station. The hotel was clean with great staff. Thank you Rick for all your help. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Amsterdam.

The staff are incredible and quite knowledgable. Everyone who worked the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We were traveling with children and elderly - and it was a wonderful experience.

This is a perfectly acceptable hotel in many ways. Friendly staff, lots of hot water, comfy bed, great location, clean, and affordable. It is not an American chain (good thing). Stay here!

The staff was very nice and always happy to help us explore Amsterdam. The location of the hotel is also excellent, being a close walk to the red light district and the nine streets (which we particularly loved). There is also a Plaza very close by which is great for people watching and having a coffee break. The negatives are mostly that the room is more dated and the shower is opened, so we could never get warm.

Nice quiet hotel in a good location.

Second time at Hotel NES. Location is close enough to the centre to walk and meet friends, but far enough out to be quiet. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast cost is on the edge of me going out for something in a café, but ok. Twin beds and a good bathroom swing it for me as well.

Breakfast was good, it had a decent amount of range for a little hotel, so no complaints. We paid for what we got! Obviously nothing too amazing but worth the price you pay. Room was a bit run down but the beds felt like i was laying on a cloud so no complaints! The bathroom surprisingly was very modern and very spacious, water pressure wasn't the best but it did the job.

Cozy stay in the canal districts

Overnight stay in Amsterdam due to a layover and it was right on one of the main canals. Easy walking to all the main attractions.

Rick was awesome in helping us check in. Very friendly and grew up there so he knows a lot about the history and recommendations in the area.
