The sauna required an extra charge, which was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Our first room was extremely noisy, and we had to ask to be moved. While the second room was an improvement, it still wasn’t particularly quiet. Overall, the experience didn’t meet the expectations of a 5-star stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Nice location

We booked three rooms two other rooms were together. One was the complete other end of the hotel then they ended up telling us to release one of the rooms and they would refund it but then I spent three days trying to get that hotels.com. I had reached out to them. They emailed me back that they couldn’t get in touch with the hotel and then on check out it was quite an ordeal. Also, definitely not a five star. I would suggest four star quality.

This is a beautiful property in the heart of Amsterdam. We’ve been to Amsterdam a few times now and always stay at this hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, amenities are great, and the location of the hotel is very central. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do (besides Keukenhof, but that’s far from Amsterdam).
