Close to Baypark Arena where we had an event. Please note: the speedway is loud because it’s close BUT they finish at a reasonable time so it doesn’t keep you awake etc. Nice room, we had a mezzanine floor with queen bed upstairs, everything else was on the bottom floor. Room had everything we needed and the small kitchen is well stocked. The property has guest laundry which is always a plus for us and the heated pool was lovely, just warmer than body temp. It is quite deep in the middle so you must get in with your kids. Our only minus is that the lighting is sparse in the unit so it feels quite dark at times. However it’s great value for money and walking distance from the pools and Bayfair so we’re booked in to stay again in 6months time.

Close to Bayfair & Bay Park and easy driving distance to Mt Maunganui & Tauranga. If a swim is required the beaches are just around the corner and a couple good quality cafes a short drive on your way to Mt Maunganui along the beach road.

I go here every year for the month of February. The beautiful beaches are steps away. Girven Takeaways is across the road. Excellent food at a good price. Bayfield mall is just up the block. Mount Maunganui is a short bus ride or it’s a five minute drive in the car. New Zealand is the most beautiful place on Earth. 🇳🇿

I go here every year….right near the beach….Girven Takeaway is just across the road….great fish and chips and Chinese Food….Bayfield Mall just up the block….the motel rooms are comfortable and quiet….the hosts are awesome….swimming pool is wonderful
