Located in the heart of Amsterdam and a short 5-10 minute walk to Amsterdam Central Station allowed for a great time out in the city. The building is eco friendly and staff is helpful. Entering and exiting the building requires a key card which adds to additional security when returning in the evening or traveling out during the day. Like many major European cities, it is not worth driving a car or parking, but the Central Train to and from Schipol airport is a 15-20 minute train ride and fairly convenient for most travelers. The room is quite spacious, bathroom amenities are great, and the bed was very comfortable.

For the price, this room was an excellent value - great breakfast buffet, excellent staff, and great room layout. Location is perfect for visiting top attractions and canals. Happily recommend this place!

Convenient for the train station

Short break. Only used to sleep, so no review of food or drink, although there was breakfast and lunch. The room we had had a strange en-suite with frosted glass, you need to know your travelling companion well!!!!! only downside was the pillows were very soft- not to my liking- however, i did not ask if i could change them, so maybe my own fault. Staff were very nice, room was very clean and the hotel was well positioned.

Excellent location if arriving by train

The location is excellent, walking distance from the Central train station and close to bars, restaurants etc. It was also very quiet, though I stayed on Monday and Tuesday evenings which may be quieter than at the weekend (though it is opposite the police station so perhaps that helps keep things in order on the street outside!). I enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel staff prepared a birthday surprise for me in my room: a cogratulation card, ballons, a bottle of drink with two crystal glasses and a plate of macarons. I would like to thank them very much. The hotel is in the historical place of the city which make easy to visit the area by walking
