The property was ok, kitchen and laundry facilities in the apartment. Its more of an Airbnb than a motel room. There was no front desk or checkin.

The Bird Creek Motel was a perfect location for our exploration of the Girdwood area. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the location was great. It was very quiet. Check in was easy with a code to our room texted to us. Easy, convenient. Recommend

Loved the bathtub! A real one from back in the day before shrinkflation took over and started shrinking everything. Best price on the peninsula in the tourist season. Being a local forced to go to Anchorage for whatever reason, it was nice to be just outside the overpriced zone. Thank you, Veronica!

We were pleasantly surprised, from the outside it doesn’t look like much but we had plenty of room inside. I booked a room with two large beds for four people and we ended up with a mini apartment. We had two bedrooms a. Nice size bathroom and small kitchen with a full size fridge. Also a mini living room area with a futon couch if we would’ve needed more sleeping space. The owner also let us do a couple loads of laundry for free. I thought that was super nice. This has been one of our nicer stays while on this Alaskan adventure. It was also nice and quiet, very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!

This motel is more than we expected. We were just looking for a convenient place to stay outside of Anchorage. I would choose this motel again anytime. We were able to park outside room and conveniently organize the stuff. They have automatic keypad doors which made check in very safe and easy. The room was well appointed with extras like soaps and coffee. The beds were comfortable and clean. I will make this one a must stay if you are looking for something right outside of Anchorage.

It is not the Hilton, but the room was clean and everything was easy to get to and the price of the room was in our budget and certainly satisfied our needs. Would stay there again if I am in the area and needed a room for overnight.

overall I find the room clean, amenities all work and it is good value for the money. Front office was closed at time of my arrival so I had to call from a phone right outside the lobby office. The phone was answered promptly and I was given a code to end my room. That was neat.

The motel doesn't look like much on the outside, although they have done a good job of upgrading it. but I found it surprisingly Clean and organized with new bedding, and decor. They have done an excellent job of renovating this older motel up to modern standards and I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a place to stay along the Seward Hwy of Alaska. I would stay again

Staff first night refused to give door code after giving wrong door code . Bedding smelled like mildew and mouse urine. Parking lot was muddy and full of pot holes. Gave us correct door code next day. Room could have been clean. We didnt stay the second night. Just poor customer service. Plumbing ba ged and rattled every time you used itholesmuddy and 100 pot holes
