Nice, clean room. The shower water wasn’t properly contained by a half glass wall so water gets on to the bathroom floor. That was a regular problem at other hotels where we stayed though. The restaurant is extraordinarily expensive. Breakfast was listed for $45 per person, which seemed excessive even for Queenstown which is expensive generally. Overall the stay was perfectly fine but it was nothing special. Not sure it was worth the cost.

I selected this hotel based on the website photos..which looked amazing…however when we go there we found that our view wasn’t the same as in the photos..there’s a very large hotel under construction directly below the hotel and construction workers on the roof…the hot tubs had to have the glass frosted so the only view we had from the tubs was a hold where someone has peeled the film from the glass…

This was the second stay after 5 days away. The staff (a man) at the check in counter never mentioned the hotel.com VIP access and the $65 hotel credit. Was like pulling teeth when asked about late checkout.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable room with all the amenities needed to relax after a day of exploring. I especially loved having access to the soak tub as part of our stay. I also dined at Nest - the set menu was excellent. The lake views are absolutely stunning!

My daughter and I were travelling through Queenstown and stayed three nights at the Kamana Lakehouse. The hotel was beautiful and the views of the lake were outstanding. The service was great as well. I understand some people were not happy about the parking lot views and the construction but that does not bother me. The only reason I gave four stars on service is because there should be more options for breakfast. The dinner was excellent along with the wine. Breakfast was a set menu but it would be best if there were some quick fruit and continental options when timing is tight for travelers and activities that get planned during the day. There is nothing near to go to unless you go to town so if you do not have time for a full sit down breakfast, you are a bit out of luck. That would be my only complaint otherwise, everything was lovely.

This property was amazing with great views. A soak experience comes with your stay but book it early. Parking is on site. It is located on a hill so walking back from town may be challenging for some. Many local tour companies pick-up at this location. The on-site restaurant "Nest" also has an amazing lake view and good menu although we did not eat there as we had other plans. The lounge is cozy with friendly staff and a great food menu as well. We would return here again.
