Room was clean. Staff was nice. There was a miscommunication 12/15 with house keeping and they thought I was checking out. They took my sodas out of the fridge and I didn’t realize until later when I got back to my room.

The elevator was dirty. Corners had build up. Toilet paper dispenser is broken in room 211 and the freezer has a huge build up of ice. The trash can in the bathroom haa a red drip that looks like old blood. Otherwise it was good.

Room was clean, but some items like faucet and curtains a bit damaged - obviously bc of other guests not bc it was old. Stayed twice across two months and both time dark roast coffee was unavailable, juice machine not working, and no way to clean machines in the workout room (dispenser cull of wipes but unable to draw them out). Location same to most in Anchorage - prop nice and safe inside but not very safe for walking. Encountered quite a few rough looking men who were camping and/or looked inebriated on just short walks to/from restaurants/park. Nothing property can do about that though. The staff were VERY nice though and probably some of the most kind and polite people I’ve encountered at a hotel.

Of course the breakfast, it was better then expected plus the variety of foods. Was not happy with bathroom. Out dated, worn looking. Fixtures in shower were lose or coming off. The bathroom its self felt like I was in a high-school locker room. The only thing it had going for it was the new sink faucet, loved it. Bed was comfortable, heating and cooling system was old window unit from the 80s. Price was step for the room being so outdated.

Our room was spotless and the Staff was lovely. The only reason not a 5 star rating is the breakfast likely meets the needs of many, but for me...it would really help to have at least a plain yogert option. I appreciate the fresh fruit, if a plain yogert were added I could manage.
