Eterna Primavera is excellently located, truly in the center of Antigua`s main attractions. The hotel has a wonderful garden in its inner patio and a charming colonial atmosphere. My room was spacious and comfortable - even if it was one of their "standard" category rooms. Their definition of a "continental" breakfast (included), however, is rather sparce , as they really want you to buy an "enlargement". But, otherwise, the hotel was an excellent choice, which can be repeated.

From check in to check out there were no issues. I didn’t even notice that there was no AC. The room temperature was perfect. There is a security after hours who made sure we were safe. The room was clean and I looked the aesthetic of the entire property. I didn’t really eat anything onsite because I was out exploring but the dining space was beautiful. The location is central to everything walkable in Antigua. I would recommend staying here for all types of travelers. My only negative comment is the walls are way too thin. You can literally hear everything going on in the surrounding room.

The grounds are very nice - but the rooms need alot of work. I get that they want to keep the rustic feel to it. But it shouldn’t mean compromising on comfort and privacy. The bathrooms don’t have a wall up to the ceiling inside the room so you hear eveything - zero privacy. The door to the room doesn’t close all the way so you hear and see the hallway lights all night plus bugs that go in. Old furniture with hard to open drawers, old chairs that didn’t roll. And when I say OLD, I mean very old. The location is probably the best thing about the place. No AC, no parking (the one they offer is 2 blocks away with zero security) I asked for an early check-in of ONE HOUR, even though the place was pretty empty, and was told NO. I said it was just to put our luggage in - and was again told NO. I really don’t recommend the place, nor would I go back.

Bed Bugs everywhere, terrible stay

Do not stay here, the bed was extremely itchy, there were bed bugs everywhere. I had to shower multiple times to seemingly get them off me. Do not recommend, when we arrived there was not even toilet paper on the room. No air conditioner in the rooms either. Do not stay.

Beautiful venue. There was an archaeological finding in the same site, very well preserved amongst the hotel. Comfortable room, and very friendly and helpful personnel. There is a small terrace with a spectacular view of the volcano.

I was very surprised by this place. Beautiful garden, property and close to everything . The breakfast was simple but delicious and everything was perfect. No a/c in the room but they had a fan. Their rooftop is lovely too.
