Staff friendly , foyer and downstairs nice enough. Room was tired and tatty as were the bedsheets with dark long hairs in the bedding (that always freaks my daughter out) obviously from cleaner / laundering and old ink stains but was all clean. Good shower . Didn’t have breakfast but complimentary coffee was nice although had to go down to breakfast area for it - no facilities in room. Location is great though - easy access to tube and Hyde park and lovely area aesthetically. London prices for 1990s level hospitality.

The hotel was well situated for transport links. The rooms were clean but the bathroom needed updating. The bar was comfortable and well stocked. All of the staff were courteous and helpful. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay clise to central Oobdon

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rioms were ok, triple room was cramped. Bathroom was very dated. Took alot of fiddling with taps to have a shower that didnt scorch you. Plus no soap or handwash to use. Had to use body wash. Found this unusual. Breakfast was nice but expected more for the price.

This is a horrible hotel, thankfully just there for the one night for a work conference but avoid this place folks. Staff - Rude and horrible Room - window broken so wouldn't close, -1 outside so had to have semi broken air con rattling away all night not to freeze. Really loud in the room, shower didn't work properly, no kettle in the room - or anything. TV didn't work. It's an absolute dump, in the states it would be the standards of a roadside motel.

Room comfortable and the en-suite had a bath. I dislike showers, so this was a big plus for me. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I have an essential tremor of my hands, and the breakfast manager kindly carried my cup to my table for me. Much appreciated. Drinks machine does excellent hot chocolate too.

Whenever we stay in London we choose The Lancaster Gate Hotel. The rooms are traditionally decorated and although perhaps not the most modern or contemporary, they are always spotlessly clean. Check in was gast and efficient with friendly staff as always. I couldnt work out how to turm the heating on and asked at the reception - someone came immediaty and showed me how to do it and was so friendly. If I could make any improvement to put stay, a couple.of biscuits on the tea tray would have been nice, and the bed was a little too firm, however overall, another good stay here at The Lancaster Gate. The location is brilliant with Hyde Park and the underground station just a few minutes walk away.

The neighbourhood is GREAT (quiet, near multiple Underground lines, walkable to Notting Hill, across from Hyde park) Appreciated the housekeeping and luggage storage The room was ok, though it smelled musty and we often heard muffled taking from the neighbouring rooms. I can sleep with ear plugs but my kid couldn’t is he had trouble falling asleep. Breakfast was tasty but expensive
