Old World Elegance in an Amazing Location!

The location of this wonderful hotel is spectacular!! It is situated in beautiful Old Town Antwerp, right beside Groenplaats and steps away from the majestic Cathedral of Our Lady Antwerp. A few blocks further lies the Grote Markt, which is the city’s main square. Clearly the Hilton was once a magnificent hotel, with its high ceilings and spacious rooms; however, the furniture and beds in the rooms are tired and dated. We found the staff to be very kind and attentive, and overall the service was great. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious.

Lovely hotel and area. You can walk to restaurants, cathedral and shopping. The A/C didn’t work, no window to open. They gave us a fan but it was hot and stuffy, rest of the hotel was excellent, restaurant and bar were good.

Location puts you in the heart of where everything is in the Centrum of Antwerp. The building itself has charm and character, and the rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Antwerp.

Everything was very nice except an email I recieved telling me that to be sure I was at the hotel front door to list it as 48 Groenplaat which WAS NOT the front of the hotel but the hotel restaurant which made me pay cancellation fees for the taxi.
