We only had a short overnight stay on our trip along the Ocean Road. We arrived quite late but communication with ghe staff for a late check in was excellent and we had no problems getting into our room. The room was spacious with breakfast making facilities and a small fridge. The location is great for a stop along the Ocean Road as Apollo Bay has its own lovely beachfront, restaurants and cafes.

The property was with view of the sea and less than 5 moon walk to the beach or nearby grocery store. Other shops not much further. Everything was nice and clean and there were tea making facilities with green tea and English breakfast tea as well as Italian freeze dried coffee. The shower was good.

Overall happy, but during our stay it rained and overflowing / blocked gutters from upper level coarse excessive water to drip down onto the roof above our room making it very noisy and difficult to sleep. Loose, broken tiles in hallway were also a safety hazard. Otherwise, happy with the accommodation provided at Sandpiper for the price.

The motel was clean and quiet and in a good location for our trip along the Great Ocean Road. There were restaurants and a supermarket nearby which was very convenient. The noise curfew is a great idea!

This was a great overnight stop along the Great Ocean Road. Is certainly set up for longer stays too. Slightly more firm bed, but still comfortable enough for a good sleep!

Sandpiper one night stay

We booked a room with a balcony and view which was very nice. Kid of a self service arrangement for checkin and checkout but it seems to work. We have friends that have a cabin in Apollo Bay, so this motel is affordable and close to everything, we will return!

This was a great place to stay in Apollo Bay. Reasonably priced. Easy walk to restaurants and beach. Good communication to manage self check in and out.
