The restaurant and kitchen staff excellent . The receptionist on my check out ask me if I took some towels before double check that they were in the room. It was uncomfortable to be ask about it.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Arequipa. The hotel was very nice and the staff very courteous. The green areas are nice and we were able to see the Misti. There is also a small bunch of alpacas and a very old turtle pet called Juanita almost 130 y. The food was delicious. The only inconvenience is when it was time to head back to the hotel... it was very difficult to find a Taxi that would know the address correctly. It seems the hotel has changed name and the new name is confusing for locals. It was closer to walk rather than taking a taxi. Overall, we would come back without hesitation.

The Hotel is a little bit old. It is not well Lit at all. But the food is outstanding, the staff is amazing. With the exception of the older guy that works at night in the front desk, that guy didn’t seem like he wanted to be bothered at all. Besides that, everybody else went out of their way to help you in anyway they could. I have stayed in five star five diamond hotels, and this has been the best staff I have ever experienced. Well done. The staff is by far the star of all of this.

Stunning hotel not far from Arequipa city centre.

Absolutely stunning hotel. From the friendly staff at the reception, to the rooms quality and the variety of options for breakfast, this is the place to stay to make your visit to Arequipa a memorable one. They took care of everything and were super helpful when asking for recommendations, booking a taxi and with the check-in/out process. The only detail to improve would be the shower which would spilt water despite having a glass door. Everything else has 5 stars treatment. Totally recommend it.

The staff is very attentive. Breakfast is very good with a terrific selection. The grounds are spacious and meticulously groomed. The pool and exercise facilities are well maintained It is a 10 minute walk to the plaza. The building is a former estate and is very interesting. It is easy to unload luggage and call a cab/uber. Well worth the money.

Too expensive for what it is

The rooms are too old, they haven’t invested anything in them. The hotel’s attention to the guests is not the best; they only offer bottle of waters as courtesy on the day you arrive but not for the rest of your stay, same with coffee. It is not worth the cost! Too expensive for what it is.

The bathroom in the rooms were very dangerous, entering and leaving the bathtub for showering was highly risky since there was one handrail only. There were no rooms with showers only and no tubs.
