This place was right on Main street, but could barely hear the traffic. Our room was on the third floor. It was spotless with plenty of room for 5. We were pleasantly surprised with the kitchen utensils, plates, bowls and glasses that were available. Coffee was available from the front office. Also a grocery store was about 5 blocks away.

Absolutely the most helpful front desk staff, providing helpful advice for visiting Aspen, especially on a budget. Our room for up to 5 people was large and well maintained. This hotel has been around since 1970, and has a classic older hotel appearance but is well maintained. I would have given 5 stars if the bed was more comfortable. Sheets were older and yellowed, but clean. Pillows seemed old as well. We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for friendly, less expensive accommodations in Aspen. The road is noisy, didn’t bother us. The location is fantastic and within walking distance of less than a half mile from most attractions, restaurants and stores.

Nice, very clean, updated vintage property. Location was ideal! Aspen is very walkable but having free bus transportation was great, especially after a day of hiking! The staff was personable and informative about all that is available in the area! Would definitely stay here again!
