I gave it 5 stars in most areas considering it’s a 3 star hotel. So many travelers, specially us Americans, rate their stays on five star hotel expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a power outage for about 1 hrs but they dealt with it. I wanted another night which was not available but they found me a room just down the street and checked me in to it at 9am. I liked Il Duomo and the staff and recommend it.

Location was great however breakfast definitely needs a lot of improvement. There was a small kettle but there were no cup, saucer, teaspoon, tea nor coffee sachets. Bathroom has generous space.

I liked the room, it was spacious and very clean. Unfortunately, upon arriving the staff person in the front desk was very serious and not helpful. She did not provide any information at all about Assis nor did she inform us about breakfast.

Best hotel for price in Italy

The best hotel I stayed in during my trip in Italy. The rooms were clean and new. The bathroom was brand new and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. We got there early (10ish) and they checked us in without any issues. I would love to stay at this place again. Highly recommended!
