I have to be very honest. I’m not sure if it was the mosquito problem the hotel has or my room had bed bugs but getting bit 21 times while being inside the hotel was something that definitely ruined my stay at this hotel. They accommodated me the most they were able too to rectify the situation which I super appreciate but it ruined my trip as I was uncomfortable and itchy. The first time I complained, all they gave me was a mosquito repellent for the room, when it started getting out of hand- they upgraded my room, gave me free drinks, discounts on hotel dining, and even washed my clothing to make sure I was handled but something like that is hard to just let go. The staff in all was super amazing and friendly. I guess staying at any hotel comes with a risk. The hotel is super local and quite convenient to plaka st and the down town area if you will. I would love to give this hotel a perfect rating but this situation stops me from doing so.

We had a wonderful visit in Athens and the Acropolis Select Hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I thought the breakfast was delicious and the rooftop restaurant was a great place for dinner or drinks.

Stylishly decorated room with wood floors, comfy beds, spotlessly clean. Nice rooftop restaurant-bar with a view of the Parthenon. The buffet breakfast was tasty, provided lots of options and was excellent value. The location is convenient for visiting the historic sights as it is walking distance to the Acropolis as well as to a metro station. A gem.

The property was really well-located on a quieter street right off the main tourist areas around the Acropolis. There were lots of great restaurants, bakeries, a little grocery store, and metro nearby. Although the hotel's amenities were fairly basic, it was immaculate, felt very safe, and had exceptionally kind and helpful staff. We really enjoyed the restaurant up top for a light meal and a great view of the Acropolis. Overall, a great stay!

Staff at the check in desk were very helpful. However the shower was useless in that it could not hold a temperature or pressure. All it took was someone in the next room to turn their shower on, to drop the pressure and make the temperature cold. Alternatively if after getting the temperature right, they turned their water off, the temperature would be scolding hot. Absolutely ridiculous shower!
