Hotel was in a great location for walking Hollywood Blvd and getting to the Hollywood Bowl. The staff was great from the valet to checkin. The room was perfect and the beds were comfortable after a long day.

Brasserie Shirley is rather costly and bad value what with some very mediocre menu items , like the caesar salad. And $8.00 for a demi-baguette is quite over the top, considering in Paris it is priced @ 0.50 (U.S.). So forth and so on....

Best true Hollywood Experience.

The staff is awesome. The hotel is very neat and unique, with lots of history and staff that are knowledgable and must really love the hotel. Location is about as good as it gets if you want to be right at the heart of the main Hollywood walk of fame area. The rooms were clean and felt relatively updated, nice tub/shower/bathroom. We got a pretty cheap room, so it was nothing extravagant, I am sure the nicer rooms are... nicer, but for the price I was happy with it. The pool area is great, and the other bars that we tried were also nice. Drink prices were high, but to be expected at a destination hotel. There was a lot of action too when we went, setting up for some filming on the top floor, taking down an outlandish production level set from a multi million dollar wedding, a movie premier right outside the doors.

We loved our stay here! A beautiful hotel, clean and a great place to escape the heat outside and have a cool drink in the bar or by the iconic outdoor pool area. Our room had been refurbished with modern touches. Our bed’s and pillows were really comfortable and the hotel staff friendly and welcoming. The hotel is on Hollywood Boulevard so you can step out onto the stars. Great location for many food options and shopping. We would happily book a stay here again.

Didn’t honor my reservation , was told Expedia misrepresented the hotel because the room i ordered was not available ( they gave my reservation) to someone else , took three hours to receive a proper accommodation i was so depressed, and in duress that i decided to move My bags from my original room to another room smh the elevator didn’t work i waited ten for fifteen minutes each time , and i just had foot surgery, first day i felt that miserable in A very long time.
