Cleanliness is great, well maintained. Quick response to any questions. The surrounding area is quiet. The building looks new. They have microwave, fridge, like a mini kitchen. Excellent place to stay.

Great apartment in a good location - close to station on train line to airport. Only criticism would be check in process which feels very over engineered. Everything done through a Web page which wouldn't load when I came to access the apartment the first time. It got sorted quickly but was inconvenient. Would be much simpler to collect all required data and payments ahead of stay and then just provide the PIN to access the building and apartment.

My fiance is very clean and and tidy. I always need to be conscious of this when we travel together. In a city where I know some of my friends have had quite varied results with accommodation, Vision Gazi proved to be a very high quality, modern, and clean choice. Located within a very easy walk to Kerameikos metro station, with many nearby eateries and bars and corner stores for groceries and coffee, Vision Gazi is also a very convenient choice. There is an associated hotel elsewhere in Athens available to discuss any needs, but potential guests should not that this building is unstaffed except for the visit by housekeeping. There was a small complication, in that the hotel sends you instructions for self-entry to the building, but this did not happen until the same day, and as I was in transit, and hoping for an early check-in on arrival this was a bit concerning. When I chased the hotel for the instructions, they wrote back to say I first had to pay the "climate tax", which is a small and normal fee, but this meant that whilst I was waiting nearby on a very hot day, it took some time to get the details to pay the tax, then the code to enter the building. Having said that, I was still granted early check-in which was nice. I simply mean it might be a good idea to chase the management prior to arrival in Athens to make sure you have all the details earlier than I did. I'll stay here again :)

The hotel is relatively new. The room was nice & clean. There is daily maid service. It wasn’t an amazing location, but it was good. Easy walk from the metro station. There is a gym on the first floor. There is a very nice Bakery down the street. Check in was the most awkward part. There isn’t a front desk, so it works somewhat like an Airbnb. Prior to getting a code to enter the hotel lobby, you need to message the property management and pay the tourist taxes. The taxes are minimal, but after a long day of traveling 18 hours it was an additional burden. You need to call or message the rental company to pay when you arrive. If we returned, we would ask to pay the tourist taxes prior to leaving for our trip & just have them email or text the entrance code prior to the check in time.

Not a hotel but rather an Airbnb style apartment

Upon arriving at the building we had concerns about the location. The neighbourhood does not feel safe. Though the building itself felt secure enough. We were a bit disappointed to find that this place is not a hotel at all, in fact there is no reception and check in is done via text message with the owner who requested my email address in order to send me a payment link for the mandatory city tax in advance of our stay. This was only 2 euros but the whole process and communication felt convoluted and wrong. Armed with the PIN number which is the same for both the main entrance to the building as well as the room/apartment, we were able to access the place without any issues. The apartment itself was fairly modern and had a good range of amenities (fridge, microwave, two large screen TVs, Nespesso machine, etc): no complaints there. The bedding was unfortunately stained and quite disgusting which was unpleasant. Though the bed itself was comfortable and large. The AC and WiFi worked well and we were comfortable overall. All in all the apartment was good but let down by poor bedding cleanliness and the location of the building was in an unpleasant part of the city so I probably wouldn't stay again.

Vision Gazi! The hotel was nice my room was stylish and very nice, I disliked the neighborhood it was totally dilapidated, when I got there I had no instructions on how to get into the building, I called a number and the lady was helpful but did not apologize for the omission, the check in was totally fumbled, paid for my reservation in full and was not sent anything, no staff is at this building

Very nice property. Requested early check in, but could not get that. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub had some kind of debris in it, so we were disappointed not to be able to confidently use it. No helpful concierge services. Good value, but che k the hot tub and request cleaning if needed.

Great!!!

What a great place!! Stayed in penthouse apartment which was over 2 levels for 4 nights.. 5 minutes walk from metro station that has direct trains to and from airport. A lot of restaurants around local area but we tended to walk along pedestrianised Ermou for about 15 minutes to touristy area with a bit more buzz to eat. Check in was easy with code for door and apartment was very clean with it being serviced daily. Hot tub was great to use at end of day watching the sunset after walking 20 odd thousand steps. I can't recommend this accommodation enough.

Overall very happy, but the lack of responsiveness or accessibility to hotel management was a problem. The facility is completely unstaffed by any sort of Front Desk, and attempts to “chat” with hotel management via their web-based portal, fell flat. So not top marks.
