When checking into our room, we noticed the conjoining door to another room would not lock, raising safety concerns. The door to the bathroom was off of the track and would not close. When taking a shower, we noticed that the water was luke warm. We called front desk and they sent up maintenance. When the maintenance came in, he turned the water on, and asked if we wanted it hotter. The water in the sink was warmer than in the shower. He then said "the water isn't going to get any hotter, it doesn't get hot like it does at home. The only hot water is at the bar" he then left. Unsatisfied, I talked to the front desk about switching rooms. She allowed me to test the water in the room before moving all of our belongings. When we got to the new room a large vent cover was hanging off the wall. Due to being tight on time and everything we had just been through, we did not complain. Just moved the chair in front of it to keep it from falling down. We asked for plates and a knife for a birthday cake later that evening and guest services said the kitchen was closed and handed us some plastic silverware, claiming there was no way to access plates, she lied. We went to the breakfast area and there were stacks of plates and bowls. We requested housekeeping the following morning along with new linens, which didn't get changed. One very nice employee who assisted with check in and check out, gave us complimentary breakfast, but besides that nothing else was done. Horrible experience.
