Great hotel and location. Rooms were nice and clean. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. The only downside is being located right on the highway. The sound of traffic all night made it a bit difficult to sleep.

Excellent staff

My wife and I stayed for two days because our furnace had gone out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and understanding. Everything was lovely except when the elevators went out on both days, requiring us to walk up five floors to our room. I asked the first day if we could get a discount on our room, so they gave us half off the second day it went out, and they gave us another half off, which accommodated our needs. As I said, the staff was hospitable, particularly Maurice. He worked the third shift and accommodated everyone who walked in. He worked the bar and the front end. He communicated intelligently with hotel guests at the bar and was very reasonable when he had to attend to the front desk. He had nothing but good energy and was a good person.

Staff Went Above and Beyond

The stay was typical EXCEPT the elevator was down most of the week and I was on the 5th floor. I know "stuff" happens but the elevator company didn't consider it a high priority. The reason the rating was as high as it is was based on your staff's willingness to help me get a large load down to my car at check out, which was 5 floors down. That was an excellent level of customer service and I appreciated that.

Sports weekend.

Came to see a Braves game on Friday and Oklahoma vs. Auburn football on Saturday. Tropical storm Helena threatened and hotel kept me informed of emergency precautions.
