Our stay at Sonder Atlanta.

The hotel is in good location with bus transportation within a short walk, Publix supermarket is approximately 500meters away. The hotel and room easy to access with the pass key supplied and inputted into the external key pads, on entry to the hotel and room. We had room 704, which was one bedroom, with a large walk-in-wardrobe, large bathroom, and bedroom. ( only issue is the bed frame being low, and we banged our shins on the corner! Make sure you have the quilt over the end of the beds to stop this from happening lol 😂) The kitchen area was spacious, with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, separate washing machine and dryer ( which we used to wash one of the change of towels) washing detergent for all supplied. There are day staff on duty and night security staff, who were able to assist with enquiries. It was the first time booking a Sonder Hotel, but will be one of the first one to consider on our future travels. Tip, taxi from Atlanta International was $45, an Uber return was only $25,

The facilities are very spacious and good location. Communication is mostly by text and so it makes it a little complicated to meet the guest's needs. We asked for a Mattress because the sofa bed was damaged and so bad that it was impossible to sleep. in it and the additional bedding,, because of the cold, and their response was “””we cannot provide additional mattressesYour Sonder can accommodate up to 6 guests, and the linen The bed for the sofa bed should be in the closet in case you need it””””” So we had to take the mattress off the sofa bed, throw it on the floor and sleep on the floor and deal with the cold. So we paid for an apartment for six 6 people, but in reality it is for 4. If you have a sofa bed that is useless and you cannot use it as a bed. The younger ones had to sleep on the floor

I never even got checked in and wasted the cost of the room. The ad for this location is a bit deceptive. It’s not a hotel, it is an apartment in a private apartment building. While this is not unusual, I would not have selected it for this trip. I arrived at the location address to find no signage, and very little parking. The registration process was so protracted and frustrating that I simply ate the cost of the stay and booked a room at a different hotel nearby.

The place was great my only complaints was that the bed was very low to the ground, there was no Tv in the bedroom so when we wanted to stay in and watch a movie we had to pull out the pull out bed to get comfortable to watch the movie in the living room and the drain in the bathroom was broken. otherwise it was a great location to uber to things. 5 min drive to the aquarium/ coca cola and MLK memorial.

We really enjoyed our stay here while we’re in town for the Notre Dame football game. The route to and from the stadium was flawless. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

While tidy, there were random hairs throughout, sticky floors, tables and counters, crumbs, etc. After an hour my white socks were brown. The cleaning staff clearly did the bare minimum. The furniture was old and stained and the sheets felt and sounded like paper.
